Project overview
Naturals Lifes Network is a custom business application built in Core PHP with MySQL for a Pakistan-based client. It operates a binary-plan network structure: member placement, downline position and commission logic are handled by application code rather than a third-party platform.
Business challenge
Binary-plan commission logic is unforgiving: every placement decision affects downline structure and every payout must be reproducible. Off-the-shelf membership plugins do not model the rules accurately, and retrofitting them later corrupts historical data.
Proposed solution
A purpose-built application with the network structure modelled explicitly in MySQL: members, placements, legs and commission events are stored relationally, and all multi-step financial operations run inside database transactions so a partial failure cannot leave commissions half-applied.

Technical architecture
Core PHP 8 with PDO prepared statements throughout, MySQL InnoDB tables with foreign keys and indexes on every placement lookup, and transactions wrapping commission runs. This case study intentionally omits member records, financial figures and internal dashboard detail.
